Today's Games Reminagined as 8- and 16-Bit

I wonder if Ed would go for a Halo 2 for the 7800 XM. Now I like Halo 2 on my Xbox, but a lot of people don't. I would LOVE it for a 7800 (even if it wasn't XM and sidescrolling).

The Guitar Hero game looks like something on the Atari 8-bit computers.

The original graphician intended for the Guitar Hero and Starcraft mock-ups to be C64 platform, but I'm betting both could easily be Atari with some work.

They'd probably be just as much fun to play, too. It all goes to show you: graphics don't make the gameplay.

 

A lot of them look like they'd be more fun to play IMO, especially the batman game. There's something that looks very dull and generic and colourless about the next gen one, but the demake looks like it'd be really fun.

While somewhat off-topic, I was imagining what a low-polygon Nintendo 64-ish Dragon Age: Origins done in the same style as the Nintendo 64 Zelda games would look like.
