Yes, they are. The PS2 is still the primary platform for the Final Fantasy series, but several Square games will appear on Nintendo systems, including a FF Tactics port for the GBA, and a new game called Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for Game Cube, which appears to be an action RPG.

well thats cool i love to see more squar games out there and the gba is the perfect platform for them if you ask me

Square also will be releasing "Cloud Strife Teaches Typing", a Final Fantasy-themed educational game. It teaches things such as capital letters, periods, etc.

 

I suggest you look into this game.

Game Designers Studio is square's nintendo developer. they are mostly made up of developers of the secret/legend of mana series and front mission series. they are very close to nintendo, all their games will be published by nintendo.
