I love the label art on the homebrews but I gotta say I was a little disappointed when my entry wasn't chosen for the "Incoming!" label contest:

That is the baddest ass label I have ever seen! There should be a limited run made with those, I would buy it.

The guy playing chess looks like Mark Hamill.

 

Actually, I think there is something far more sinister to that label art...

Using programming techniques that didn't exist in the life span of these game systems isn't very 70s/80s either. I'm just glad they make these games. As long as Lady Gaga and/or Justin Bieber don't show up in the cover art I couldn't care less what's on them.

I doubt there are big differences. By the mid eighties, the Atari 2600 programming was pretty much maxed out.

I would like to see a homebrew game come out with a text label.
