I'll cut to the chase: I'm offering up this unreleased game and I am absolutely going to sell it by next week. The game appears to be complete, is as far as I know the only copy known, and is definitely a fun little game.

I'm looking at all offers, and the first one I like, I'm going to take. I have a standing offer of $400 from one member and another party interested at $500, so please keep those numbers in mind before sending an offer.

Game Gear protos are uncommon to begin with, and unless you're talking about Frogger, protos of unreleased Game Gear games are damn near impossible to find. This thing is 100% going to be sold by next week, so if you want it, don't wait or you just may regret it.

Thanks for checking this out, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask!

Thanks Chris! It's definitely a cool little proto, but I'm trying to do my best to stick with NES stuff so i don't spread myself too thin.

Silly thing? After all was said and done, I ended up with $650.

Silly one of a kind protos tend to be desirable ;)

Wowee! That's 6x more than a mint arcade game of the same name would normally fetch!

Here is an off the wall prototype arcade pcb

I think the asking price is a little high - lol

I'd have loved to own it, but had no money. I'm a big GG fan and would have seen this released. I hope that this isn't lost to the hobbyists forever.

Eh, this money just funds more NES protos that I'll end up leaking to you guys, so all's well that ends well, right? Got 3 more projects in the works as we speak, one special one project may be going out as early as next week...

Yeah, I've seen that. :rolling:

This one on the other hand is reasonable for an unreleased arcade pcb althought the rom has obviously been obtained so the demand is not so high

WEIRD, Last night, chatting to my teenage son about when I was a Games Coder, I mentioned 'Off The Wall' and how I'd converted it from a full sized arcade machine to a Game-Gear. Google did the rest!

I was contracted by a 'Teeny Weeny Games' Based in Croyden UK, to do the conversion. I was supplied the Arcade Machine (I had to return sadly), a tape of someone playing all the levels, and the raw 68000 code from the Arcade Machine.

Oh, and it was to be a 2 Player version!

I was able to complete the task quite happily, this being one of the few games I was not sick of the sight of by the time I'd finished it!

Thanks for the 'proof' that it ever existed, I often wondered what happened to it .

A list other stuff I did around that time is available at Bedrock-Software.com

Having seen this I might even update it

That is awesome. It's great to see original programmers (or 'alumni' as we sometimes call them) posting. Our video game conventions (like CGE in the US, and there is are also shows in Europe and in the UK) love to see alumni, and sometimes hear them speak!

Thanks for the great historical comments.
