Controller for the Stella Emulator

I'd like to know if I can use any controller that hooks into the USB... for playing emulation games?

 

I just re-downloaded stella and wanted to know if I can make this emulator work with a controller into the USB port, if so how do I get it going?

Nevermind, i got it working... just needed to re-boot. I done this controller hookup before,

so ... I knew it could work, but the fact it wasn't responding made me think I needed to tweak Stella,. but no.. it only needed a re-boot...

Glad to see you got it working. I had a problem earlier, but it turns out my emulator was a bit outdated (what do you know, the last update I had was from 99 ) Modern can read any usb Pad, or a 360 controller, or you can pop for a legacy 2600 lookalike (I love mine)
