Tr3vor #1 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) Is this a legit training video from gamestop that I found on youtube? If so, the I REALLY am gonna stop shoping there... Or is this some random video some retard made and uploaded? Edit: I don't want employees to get "personal" because when people who work do that, they usually shove some shit at you that you don't want to buy and get in your way, and so on. MagitekAngel #2 Posted August 25, 2010 I'm still waiting for someone from Gamestop to get back to me on when they're getting Battletoads in.
+HammR25 #3 Posted August 25, 2010 It's just a training video. The employees probably laugh at it. I've never had an employee act the way they act in the video.

xg4bx #6 Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) I've never encountered a Gamestop employee who didn't come across like a huge douche... I worked at gamestop for 3 years, I don't think I'm that douchey Honestly I've never seen nor even heard of this video. Wish I had though, that 'lil lady is an absolute doll. +Random Terrain #7 Posted August 25, 2010 The employee near the end of the video looks like he needs a shower. A really long, deep-cleaning shower that includes his hair.
Video #8 Posted August 27, 2010 Looks like an old BTL spoof video "oh, I don't think your getting out of here with your 3 cents change" I've never encountered a Gamestop employee who didn't come across like a huge douche... I worked at gamestop for 3 years, I don't think I'm that douchey Everybody know that douches in denial will say that J/K
Crazy Climber #9 Posted September 2, 2010 I've never encountered a Gamestop employee who didn't come across like a huge douche... I worked at gamestop for 3 years, I don't think I'm that douchey It's just because you are under there spell of douchness, it's not your fault, you just don't know. The only way to break the spell is to go to another Gamestop and without letting them know you are one of "them" attempt to purchase something. There douchbaggery will overpower your douch trance and you will then see the light
Emehr #10 Posted September 2, 2010 The few times I go to GameStop (once, maybe twice a year to see if they are clearancing out last gen's games), my experience with their employees is always this: "Can I help you with anything?" (or some variation on that) "No thanks, just browsing." "Okay if you need anything just let me know." "Okay, thanks." Pretty unexciting and non-douchey. Maybe I should consider myself lucky? Tr3vor #12 Posted September 2, 2010 Pretty unexciting and non-douchey. Maybe I should consider myself lucky? yes. especcially at the register. "may I offer you this?" no "how about this?" no "how about this?" NO!
godslabrat #13 Posted September 3, 2010 Pretty unexciting and non-douchey. Maybe I should consider myself lucky? yes. especcially at the register. "may I offer you this?" no "how about this?" no "how about this?" NO! Gender issues aside, what irritates me most about the behavior in the video are the constant magazine pitches. Just assuming the customer is dying for a magazine subscription to be thrust upon them. Here's a hint- anyone that wants to subscribe to a magazine already does!!! And if they don't, they probably don't want to, no matter what the price! I drastically reduced my shopping at Best Buy when they did the magazine thing. Now that they've stopped it, I'm there all the time.
