Red 5 #1 Posted August 28, 2010 Finally. Cart #573 in the old 2600 collection would be Sears Night Driver Picture Label which completes the Sears labels. Stupid Sears. I hate you Sears labels. I hate you with a passion. I also refuse to believe in the Superman Picture label. (Yes, I know it really exists, I just refuse to believe it does for my own sanity. Kind of like how I finished my Imagic labels because I don't believe in Atlantis 2. Also, the first person to say the "b" word gets my shoe in their ass. (I do have lots of Sears boxes, but nowhere near all of them. Leave me alone. Anyway, who are we kidding, as collectors it's fun to scream "Look at me!" I haven't got to do it in a while, so LOOK AT ME ! ! ! The pretty picture labels: And the obligatory picture of the ugle text carts: So here's a great big F YOU to Sears. I hate you and I am done with you. Harrass me no longer !
Cebus Capucinis #3 Posted August 28, 2010 No box no glory! I am just kidding. Congrats! I am nowhere near a complete Sears collection!
CPUWIZ #4 Posted August 28, 2010 Are those 72dpi scans of Polaroid pictures? Congrats, wait until cincynoti corrects you. I bet he can.
Red 5 #5 Posted August 28, 2010 Are those 72dpi scans of Polaroid pictures? Congrats, wait until cincynoti corrects you. I bet he can. I was lazy. Used the iphone with no light. It helps show my hatred of Sears labels though. (Although the Gunslinger label is so very sexy.) I will put Cincynoti on on ignore until this thread dies. (Unless I find a Superman pic label in the next few days. There are always Tag Sales tomorrow. The dream lives on.)
Miss 2600 #6 Posted August 28, 2010 Very cool collection! I like the Submarine Commander label.

crunchysuperman #8 Posted August 28, 2010 Well done! I've always loved the Sears labels as they have much more interesting illustrations. I only wish they had stayed with unique labels throughout their entire run.
Red 5 #9 Posted August 28, 2010 I do like the picture labels a whole lot. Sears text labels are incredibly boring to collect though. Cannon Man was fun because it is rare and interesting to hunt for, but the rest are super blah. I love the Gunslinger label and Poker Plus and Black Jack are interesting and 70's sexy. Baseball and Basektball were a pain to find too but cool pics. What sucked though was collecting the non-unique picture labels. Not very fun scouring ebay auctions for the minor variation in the label on games llike night driver, missile command, demons to diamonds, adventure, berzerk, etc. The hardest by far to get in the last few years was Gunslinger, Basketball Pics and Cannon Man. pinball22 #10 Posted August 30, 2010 Congrats! I love Sears stuff... one of the few areas where I'm actually interested in collecting the boxes and not just the carts/manuals.

iwan-iwanowitsch-goratschin #12 Posted August 30, 2010 Congrats, Red 5! I bet that Sears is owing you a few years.........
Skylark68 #13 Posted August 31, 2010 Awesome collection! Congrats! Sears games are the best IMO.
EricDeLee #14 Posted September 1, 2010 Great job! I agree that Gunslinger, Baseball and Basketball are the hardest to find. Basketball in particular is very tough to find. I have to replace it because my end label is trashed. I am debating to just reproduce it, but I am afraid I will creat a monster and do that for other carts as well. I don't think I want to open that pandoras box. LOL Anyone else here trying for the Sears Pic labels? I have an extra Gunslinger that needs a new home! schuwalker #15 Posted September 1, 2010 Very cool! I only collect Sears "boxed" games (damn you Demons to diamonds) but after seeing these pics I think I might have changed my mind!
Christophero Sly #16 Posted September 1, 2010 Congratulations! I still need Race (Pict) and Superman (Text) to finish up. BTW, if anyone has a Picture Race, I have an extra Picture Gunslinger to trade.
crunchysuperman #17 Posted September 1, 2010 Wow - two spare Gunslingers in the three posts. Where were you guys five or six years ago?
Red 5 #18 Posted September 1, 2010 Wow - two spare Gunslingers in the three posts. Where were you guys five or six years ago? Seriously! Grab them now. It was a long search to find mine.
EricDeLee #19 Posted September 2, 2010 Wow - two spare Gunslingers in the three posts. Where were you guys five or six years ago? I know! LOL That is a rare occurrence. Someone should Grab mine... (since I posted it first... LOL) and then grab the other one! Christophero Sly: I will check... but that one doesn't ring a bell. Eventually I will need to upgrade a few other labels of mine (Pong Sports, and Berzerk).

ydcl #21 Posted September 7, 2010 Nice collection. You must have taken a long time to get all those Sears games. I just started to collect, so no boxed games yet. But soon I say.... Soon.
