donssword #2 Posted August 29, 2010 That's a hard call there endrien. That's some nice stuff with Bumper Bash and Star Wars Arcade, but I'm no expert on price/value. As more of a hobbiest, as opposed to a collector, I would ask what are your intentions? If it is just to play them, then invest in a Harmony Cart, its cheaper and you have the same experience. But, if you plan on reselling them in the future, or you "just want them" (which can be a devilish urge sometimes), then it might be a decent buy. Will he go any cheaper? Personally, its way too steep for my wallet.
Lord Thag #3 Posted August 29, 2010 That's certainly not an amazing deal or anything, but then again, it's not exactly a ripoff. Depends on the condition of the carts really. Play wise, there is a lot of good, solid, uncommon fare to be had with that mix. You'll definitely get some play time. Pressure Cooker, Cosmic Commuter, Nexar and Beam Rider are 'A' grade titles from a player's standpoint, and most of the rest are good games. That said, I scored my Bumper Bash for $20 loose, so you could get them cheaper if you wait. But that is a nice lot. If you have the money and can spare it, I'd try and talk him down to $100 or thereabouts and grab them. Good times there
horseboy #4 Posted August 29, 2010 Make sure Bumper Bash and Master Builder are NTSC.

endrien #6 Posted August 29, 2010 I need to ask about condition, they are all NTSC. My intention is just to play and build up a collection of 2600 games. If I wanted to just download them, why would I buy a harmony cart? I could simply use stella for free(Not dissing harmony or anything, but it's the truth). Bumper bash and Master builder are valued at about 90$ for bumper bash and 75$ for master builder, while the others go for about 10$ each. total it and thats Around 165$ for those two plus 320 for the other 32 games which is 485$. Philflound #8 Posted August 30, 2010 Make sure Bumper Bash and Master Builder are NTSC. Hopefully you are right with them being NTSC like Horseboy says, else they are worth MUCH less. Phil
yuppicide #9 Posted August 30, 2010 I don't know if I'm too lazy to make a PAL version of my game or I don't want to make a PAL version since it'll be worth so much less.
Derek #10 Posted August 30, 2010 Time Warp could be worth that much alone, describe the cart ? Hi, I just had to ask where you got the idea that Time Warp could garner $120? I scanned my cartridge, and since I am aware of no other Atari 2600 cartridge with this name, I assume this is the one you are referring to? True, in some areas Zellers cartridges are rather rare, but $120 rare?! I'd happily part with it. That's a lot of weekend beer money:) I seem to have rather a lot of difficulty attaching pics, they usually appear as a link instead of a picture right there on my reply. I don't see any other way to do it besides hit attach this file... time warp.pdf

I don't see any other way to do it besides hit attach this file... There are two different options in your user settings for how composing posts works. I'm using the "basic" version, and here's how it works: Step 1: Get the image ready on your computer (cropped, appropriately resized for web display, any needed retouching such as contrast enhancement, color correction, etc.) Step 2: Put the file in a known location on your computer, or memorize how to find it. Step 3: Write the post you intend to include the image in, using either the "Start a New Topic", "Add Reply" or "Use Full Editor" buttons (not the "quick reply" field at the bottom of the page). While writing your post, below the "Post" section is an "Attachments" section. Step 4: Click the "Browse..." button in the "Attachments" section, navigate to and select the image you prepared earlier, then click "Open" or "OK" or whatever your OS uses for confirmation. Alternatively, you could copy and paste the full path info for the image directly into the text field to the left of the "Browse..." button. Step 5: Click the "Attach This File" button below the "Browse..." field which should now be displaying the path to the image file. STEP 6: After the image has uploaded, a field will appear above the "Browse..." button, showing a thumbnail of the image, and its name and filesize. At the far right end of this field will be two links, "Add to Post" and "Delete". To make the image visible at a desired position in your post, place the text cursor where you want the image to appear, then click the "Add to Post" link. (someone else can tell you how to do it with the "advanced" uploader version) P.S. File type ".PDF" is not an image file type, so that could be part of your problem. I don't think you can put other file types "inline" in a post's text. Edited August 30, 2010 by A.J. Franzman
EricDeLee #13 Posted August 30, 2010 There's what.... 8 or so Zeller carts there. Master Builder, Star Wars TAG, Bumperbash... There are quite a few really nice carts. I personally think it is worth the money. Check if all of these are NTSC, I am sure they are. Then if it were me, I'd see if the guy would go to 100 shipped. If not, I'd at least try to make sure it was $120 SHIPPED. No extra. LOL I think it is a wonderful deal at $100 shipped, one that you don't turn down. $120... I think you need to sell off a few to recover costs. Throw out the Zeller carts to a few collectors here. There are a couple I need that I would be happy to buy off of you to make this deal good for you.

I agree emulation never feels correct for some reason. I guess its minute timing inaccuracies or playing it on a high resolution monitor - not sure. pinball22 #15 Posted August 30, 2010 Yeah, if those are NTSC, that seems like a good deal to me. Other than the two big ones, lots of stuff there that's easily at least $5-$10 each.

endrien #19 Posted August 31, 2010 I bought these today, friendly fellow. All the games are in good shape, came with some manuals including bumperbash and Master builder's manual. It also came with two swordquest comics, one of which isn't on the comic page of atari age and it doesn't have any number on the front cover?? The other manuals are: Double dragon Eggo mania Cross force. I can scan any of these if anyone wants me to.
