Last Jaguar game?

I've read that Fight For Life was the last game released for the Jaguar by Atari themselves. Was there another game that was released by another company after this? I haven't spent much time with the Jaguar (i only have 3 games for it.)

Well the latest game for the Jaguar would have to be either Superfly DX (latest original game) or Aircars 94 Beta (latest released prototype), but there are more games coming this year.

I meant licensed games, not homebrews or prototypes.

Aircars and Zero 5 were official, third-party games released in 1997 -- I don't know if there have been any official releases after that.

It was officially announced during Jaguar lifetime, and out in 2000 IIRC.

Was Protector released later than BS ?

In 1999 Hasbro (Atari) gave up the requirement for games to be licensed with them, therefore Battlesphere and everything following that were homebrews under your definition, assuming you mean licensed by Atari, not licensed by the owners/developers of the IP to a 3rd party publisher (as in the case of many of the more modern releases and protos).

If we're discounting anything after the Hasbro release of rights then it would be Worms in 1998 as the last release i suspect.

Fight for Life was the last released Jaguar game before Atari merged with JTS. Telegames and Songbird and Scatologic titles were all post Atari releases and released after the Jaguar's commercial life had ended. JAGUAR RULES!

I don't know the exact deal that Telegames made with Atari, but their titles were the last that you could buy in stores and the last ones released before Hasbro released the Jaguar to the public domain.
