Safe Frying

Recommended Posts

I can't find the thread from a while back about frying so I started a new one. I was kicking around the idea of making a button for frying that is safe for the atari. I think I was told you need to take power from the ram, but leave the CPU running? Can anyone chime in and offer pointers?

Write an application that writes random bytes to random memory locations into the game's binary ROM file and try it on your favourite emulator. No chance of any carts or systems being harmed then.

mmmm....Frying a 2600, how much fat would that take before making it (the 2600) inoperable

Would be interesting to see what one would serve with a fried 2600....chips perhaps

in jest ofcourse 2600 people, i would'nt let anything with the name atari go anywhere near the cooker (but nintendo, sony, well that is something else entirely)
