Harmony Cartridge and "My Golf" problem

Greetings,

I'm having a problem getting the "My Golf" game (downloaded from Atariage) to work with my Harmony cartridge.

I tried it on both of my 2600's [4 switch - RF out] and [Junior - Longhorn AV mod].

I also tried it on both systems on two different TV's (CRT & digital).

In every set-up the image flickers dramatically.

However, it plays on my PC perfectly (Stella)!

 

I also tried another download from a different source.

 

Any suggestions??

My Golf is PAL...did you download the correct ROM (NTSC conversion)? If so, perhaps there are some issues with the conversion.

 

Everything works in Stella, because NTSC/PAL differences aren't an issue for your computer screen.

You're right. I didn't realize that I had the PAL version.

I downloaded the correct version and it works fine.

FYI, the typical symptom of a PAL game running on an NTSC TV is not called "flickering", it's called "rolling". (Flickering is a completely different condition).
