Hitachi #1 Posted September 24, 2010 Hey everybody. I just wanted to share this little story. Today, my fiancee wanted cici's pizza, so, I took her for lunch. Afterward, I noticed they had a small game room next to the dining area, they had this game there that I had never seen in an arcade before. Aliens: Extermination. It had a really nice screen and two large light guns. It appealed to me instantly. Wait.... I'm telling a rambling story. Sorry. I played this game today and I think it is fantastic. Even my fiancee liked it. And she doesn't usually play video games, much less shooters. So, the point of this thread? The game is worth the eight dollars I spent on our play. If you get the chance, give it a go.
xg4bx #2 Posted September 24, 2010 I played this at the shore last year and liked it alot. I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been a console port of it.
SoulBlazer #3 Posted September 24, 2010 This is defentily a fun game. Very good shooter with a nice gun and feels like it belongs in the Aliens setting. When I go to my local D&B every month this is on my list of 'must play' games.
Shaggy the Atarian #4 Posted September 24, 2010 Here's the official site for it http://globalvr.com/products_ae.html I remember when it came out in 2006 and a local theater got one. I was quite stoked to go play it and I wasn't disappointed. I would love to get the 42" version for my own arcade one day, I imagine that it's a little better. Do you have this game for your arcade, Shaggy? Does it still do well? There's 2 at my D&B and they are often always use in use.

I tried to get one when I opened (for a killer price too) but the seller changed their minds at the last minute. I haven't come across another since but I haven't been looking for a while since I got the new Terminator Salvation Arcade a few months ago, which was made by the same people who did Aliens (and some of them worked on CarnEvil as well, which I do have). I have had a few people ask for an Aliens though, so I'm sure it would do well.
Crazy Climber #7 Posted September 28, 2010 I would love to get the 42" version for my own arcade one day, I imagine that it's a little better. There is one here on Mpls Craigslist. I think he was asking $2300 but it has been up for sale FOREVER so I imagine you could get it cheaper.
