AtariKari #1 Posted September 26, 2010 Hello, The title pretty much says it all. I've seen this on eBay a few times but have missed out on buying it. PM me if you have one you'd like to sell, preferably loose. Thanks!
Stan #2 Posted September 28, 2010 Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this CD only? I didn't think there was a cart version.
eightbit #3 Posted September 28, 2010 Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this CD only? I didn't think there was a cart version. There was indeed a cart version. It was distributed by Telegames. I used to own it, now I don't. I too am looking for it again!
busterm #4 Posted September 28, 2010 Telegames UK sales it still. You can also email Carl at Songbird. His site says backorder. But Ive emailed him in the past and he was able to get me a Telegames item that was listed back order in less than two weeks.
AtariKari #5 Posted September 28, 2010 OK cool, thanks. Carl is a stand-up guy in general and I appreciate the advice...I'll check it out. As an aside, I lost the CD version when my car got broken into a long time ago (I also lost books of random audio CDs but only wondered what happened to the library of Jag CD titles in there...) and always thought the cart version would be good to check out because my Jag CD is so buggy. eightbit #6 Posted September 28, 2010 If you ever feel like replacing that JagCD with a NEW one, Best Electronics still has new JagCD units. I purchased the unit without the box (but is new and includes everything else) for $175. Yeah, price is high I suppose, but heck..brand spankin' new! Stan #7 Posted September 28, 2010 Awesome, never knew that! Which version do you find to be better quality overall, the CD or cart? No real difference?
busterm #8 Posted October 1, 2010 Awesome, never knew that! Which version do you find to be better quality overall, the CD or cart? No real difference? CD is the best in my opinion with the ingame music. But the rest is all the same. You can also cheaply and easily just change the platter on your Jagcd for under $20 if its starting to wear down.
