Over the weekend I got to play on my new 7800 and played

Seawolf, after rmuch struggling to get the cart in

Thrust..this cart went in no problem at all

B*nQ - great fun and with the euro game pad its easy to get the diagonals

Beef Drop..I recently became a big fan of the original arcade game. Ken Siders version does not dissapoint and today I managed to get over 10,000

Great game Ken!

Don't suppose you have a spare one with the upgraded sound? ;-)

Played beef drop for the first time at Jagfest X and loved it! I'll definatly pick up a copy soon, but i have to sort out a working 7800 and finance the new expansion module first!

The 7800 deserves far more homebrew games than the 2600, it needs to share some of the limelight from time to time, with all the homebrew that the 2600 gets here on atariage but i guess thats just down to a larger fanbase at the end of the day...

What version of beef drop supports pokey? When I get home from travel I want to check my cart to see if it has pokey. How can I tell?

Thanks.

If you have one of the hand numbered, early versions, then it has a pokey chip.

And I believe the new ones without pokey are labeled "Beef Drop VE" on the cart.

Just got home and checked my version of Beef Drop is VE. Glad to hear it will play pokey via the expansion module.

I don't recall the post, but enjoy :) I hope to someday go back to the world of Stay Frosty, there's a lot of untapped potential in there.

Played Stay Frosty for the first time. I absolutely love it.

All the games are fantastic on the Stella's Stocking collection. Of course most everyone here already knows that. I have to say I was impressed with the quality of each game. My two favorites are Stay Frosty and Grandma's Revenge.
