Help me identify a PC magazine (demo) disc

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to remember the name of the magazine that had this specific (demo) disc included. I can only remember some of the games, not all of them. If I can remember any more than that, I'll post back here:

Alone in the Dark

The Need for Speed

Descent

Ultima Underworld

Secret of Monkey Island

King's Quest 1 (possibly)

As you can see, this (demo) disc was mainly meant for MS-DOS. The disc itself had the names of all the games listed around the outer rim of the label. I'm also not sure if all the games were demos or not, which is why I put parenthesize the word "demo".

I kind of miss having this magazine disc around. It was one of the the most varied pieces of PC gaming I ever used. I'm just upset that I can't remember the magazine's name. PC Gamer? I don't know anymore...

EDIT: added a game to the list.

Hmm, I think that's it. Thanks a bunch! Too bad I don't see many people selling these things. I'd love to have the actual disc again.

I think there was another game on the disc as well, Terminal Velocity.

That's most definitely wrong. :)

I know what you're talking about. It was a PC Gamer disc with all those games.

I bought this years ago with the magazine itself, and I happened upon another copy a few months ago. I can probably dig it up if you'd like to buy it!
