A boxed copy? Perfect condition? I'd actually pay $2 for that just to stick one on the shelf in my collection.

Yeah, I hate this too. But, it all depends on your perspective. When you take the entire world of video games and lump them together as a whole, I guess Combat could be considered rare as would all games for Atari 2600. Since you can't buy them in retail stores and they are out of production, many laymen would consider them rare; right? Just a rambling thought due to excessive caffiene and hours of driving!
