Question about the CV cartridge slot

Hey all, I was wondering if it is common for carts to not go in straight when inserting it into the CV console. On my machine, fully inserted carts don't go in straight, even though they're all the way in. It operates fine, so it's just an aesthetic issue, but it just seems like something isn't right with it.

 

Any comments, ideas, or suggestions?

I had the same issue with my CV, and it turns out there was a ceramic capacitor near the slot blocking the cart, which prevented it from being completely inserted. Bend the cap away (but don't break it off or remove it) and your carts should go in all the way.
