It's actually an idea I had already. Mine was called "Rain Drops" where you're a spider avoiding drops of rain... or maybe a cat. My original idea was a spider. I couldn't get it to work though. Looks like yours is flickering sprites. My idea was just to draw pixels out of the playfield and have them fall using pfpixel on and off commands. I think it would be better if the aardvark only stuck out his tongue when you press fire and keep the button pressed.
