Does a 2600 cart get warm?

Does the chip inside an Atari 2600 cartridge get hot or does it generally run cool?

I'm having WOODEN CARTRIDGES made and he hopes to ship me a sample to test out tomorrow. Up until now neither of us have thought of this.

If you leave it on for a few hours, it may get just a little warm. However, I don't think it would be a problem with wooden cartridges.

Interesting ... I'd like to see it when you get it. What was the impetus?

My first reaction to the topic was... "depends where you stick it." but I think that the Christmas tune is way funnier than anything I could have said. +1 for each verse. Who are we going to get to sing and produce this?

:D

AX

Just sing it yourself and someone else will Auto-Tune you to the Bing Crosby version.
