I can't even get past the first screen of this game. I would be satisfied just watching a playthrough on youtube at this point.

I played through the Jag version once. It was fairly easy IIRC, only one scene gave me trouble (the one with the Frankenstein guy). Personally I think Space Ace is MUCH harder.

That's a complete understatement. Space Ace is virtually unplayable.

Personally I hate those types of game anyway, no matter how hard they are.

I got quite far with Space Ace, I had always trouble with Dragon's Lair.

Was the Jag version completable? I don't think the Save Game feature worked and I never got past the 50% mark...

I made the savegame experience the hard way: after playing a whole night, saving every time and resuming without a problem, I discovered that everything was fine *until* you turned your jag off!
