I've never seen a stand-up one before. Neat. Be careful though, the joysticks on these are usually shot and need fixing.

Umm I have only used craiglist once, but isn't he listing that for $1??

I have seen the up right once or twice in movie lobbies, probably the same one, just shuffled around.

My concern would be that all of them I have played or seen the monitors are messed up, washed out colours and slight burn in.

That is Craigslist lingo for "make me an offer". I would love to get it for a buck. Also, if you were being "smart" as my mother would say, "stop it or I'll smack ya" as my mother would say. ;)

Curious that he doesn't show any pictures of it running. Also, the bottom is cut off in the pictures, might have water damage. I've responded to some ads that said "great condition" only to find a machine that should probably be burned.

I've seen some price estimates at $650. I think that's quite a bit high. A few have sold at auctions for between $275-$375, but without any pictures of those it's hard to compare. I'd probably offer him $300 for it, but insist on playing it first before handing over the money. If it doesn't work, maybe $100 if the cabinet's in good shape and the boards are all there. Of course, I don't really care much for this particular game (just thought I might throw that out there in case if it makes a difference).

I think around $600 is more realistic if it is working good, this one looks to be in pretty decent shape as well. These can still be "earners" and those $300 auction ones have usually lived a tough life and are in horseshit condition, not to mention you will be lucky if they are working. The market is tough right now though so who knows...

My wife decided I couldn't have it in the house. I have a place to store it and store is safely, but for now the money would be better spent anyway.

That said I did email the guy anyway, because I wanted to buy it anyway, because she can't stay mad forever anyway..... I think we have all been there amiright? He never got bck to me. Nothing more to add. Sorry.
