OldAtarian #1 Posted October 20, 2010 Were there any of these? I recently saw a 4 switch woody and the label underneath just said Manufactured by Atari, Sunnyvale CA and there was no mention of Taiwan anywhere on the label and the serial number did not start with a T like on my Taiwan heavy. Was Atari still making them in Sunnyvale at that time?
BigO #2 Posted October 20, 2010 I don't know the details of when and how many were produced, but I had a Sunnyvale 4-switch machine so I can confirm that they exist. I'm pretty sure I posted something about it here but can't find it in a search.
Brian R. #3 Posted October 20, 2010 I believe I have a Sunnyvale four-toggle woody. Bought it from Best in 97/98 or so, brand new. Says MFG by Atari, Sunnyvale. The serial is weird... 175346 EP-034. It's that EP-034 that is different from the serials on my other 2600s.
toymailman #4 Posted October 23, 2010 I got one from a friend not too long ago and cleaned it up like new.
WallySparks #5 Posted November 2, 2010 I can confirm they exist. I just picked one up at a thrift store a couple of months ago. It also has a serial# of 9198
