Mad Hatter #1 Posted October 22, 2010 Any ideas how to rectify this? When playing regular ColecoVision games the picture is fine and perfectly centered. However when I use expansion module #1 the picture is jammed all the way to one side, and some of it is even cut-off from view. I don't have a picture centering feature on the TV I have this hooked up to. Is this common with exp module #1? Anyone else have this same problem? Thanks

You can pick them up pretty cheap. I would suggest buying another.
ed1475 #3 Posted October 22, 2010 There's a dial on the inside of Exp Mod #1 to adjust the colors. Maybe there's a dial or something for centering the picture?
SlowCoder #4 Posted October 24, 2010 Just a question. Have you tried cleaning up the connectors on both the CV expansion slot, and the module? I'm not a video expert, but isn't there a signal (timing, maybe) related to RF that tells the TV how to properly display the image?
SlowCoder #5 Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) You can pick them up pretty cheap. I would suggest buying another. Hey Yurkie, What's considered a good price? I picked one up for $12 shipped, but most of them on eBay seem to be going for $25ish+shipping, unless you get one with a CV. Mad Hatter #7 Posted October 24, 2010 Haven't tried cleaning the connections, didn't think that would have anything to do with the picture not being centered. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

I think $20 plus shipping for a tested working Expansion Module #1 is a good price.
