Gabriel #1 Posted October 22, 2010 Anyone else ordered Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage (Dynasty Warriors: Fist of the North Star) yet? I pre-ordered as soon as I completed the demo the other day. I admit I was a little disappointed at the minimal gore. Fist should have a lot more gushing blood and graphically exploding bodies than this. But the characters were well detailed, and I got a strange kind of satisfaction from the "meaty" controls. I felt like it really reflected it's source material in that regard. The game didn't seem to be the standard Dynasty Warriors formula. In fact, it seemed structurally closer to Onechanbara.

Is it related to Fist of the North Star on the NES?
Gabriel #3 Posted October 26, 2010 Is it related to Fist of the North Star on the NES? Only by way of both being licensed from the same anime/manga property: Hokuto no Ken.

cimerians #7 Posted October 29, 2010 Ughhhhh.....the demo wasn't that great IMO. I could tell it's an acquired taste or pretty good if your a fan of the anime. It did get a little fun after a few attempts to kill the guy and when I got used to the controls. I hate to say it but the graphics and physics were reminiscent of a PS2 game. I'll probably skip it unless there's something spectacular beyond the demo.
