Whatever became of the CV2?

Recommended Posts

I haven't been around for a while, but I remember in the spring I was looking forward to when the CV2 products would become available. I recall there was an expansion module being worked on that would be produced first, and then there would be a new console that would incorporate its functionality and be fully backwards compatible. The console would be the Colecovision 2, and the people behind it had even negotiated rights to use the name and associated intellectual property in the new product.

Has there been anything new since then? Is there a timeline? Or have they gone by the wayside?

Eduardo Mello no longer comes to the AtariAge forums. If you want the latest news about what he's working on, then visit World of Opcode. That's the only place where you can find info on the CV2, Donkey Kong Arcade, etc.

Thanks for the link!

Looks like I can tune out indefinitely, then.
