Chris++ #1 Posted October 29, 2010 Here's a possibly interesting, what's-the-whole-point topic for the AA brethren! The games that I find myself returning to with great regularity simply feel good, in terms of the mechanics; the successfully implemented brain-to-hands grace and fluidity; the very sensation of the game-play and its addictive aspects, quite apart from whether or not one cerebrally finds the same games to be designed well. (Funny how difficult that is to articulate.) Mine are Superman, Adventure, Dodge 'Em, Save Mary, Frostbite, Yars' Revenge and, oddly enough, Spacemaster X-7. I'm sure there are a few others I'm missing.

Ms. Pac-Man Jr. Pac-Man Galaxian Combat Circus Atari Actually, I'll stop there. This list could get very big.

Stan #12 Posted October 30, 2010 Hmmm, there are a number of them. Kaboom! first comes to mind, as well as Stampede and No Escape.
Chris++ #13 Posted October 30, 2010 I know; it occurred to me a bit later that it would be a hard thing to actually narrow down, as there are so many games that one could say that about...I guess that's why we dig the console so much! DUH.
tcv #14 Posted October 30, 2010 Demon Attack and Circus Atari are my constant faves. I've never lost interest in either of them after all these years!
RJ #15 Posted October 30, 2010 Well compared to the other "fake" versions of Crystal Castles, there's something about the 2600 cart that just feels right to me. In the others, I stumble around & bump into walls, etc. & rarley ever pick up more than a few gems in succession. Playing the cart version, I speed up the ramps & scoop up gems easily. Maybe it's the CX40 joystick vs. other controllers, IDK.

Fixitguy74 #17 Posted November 1, 2010 I find myself Playing Centipede, Space Invaders, Video Pinball, Journey Escape, Missile Command, and Super Challenge Baseball most often. Some for the fluid play, like Centipede and Missile Command, and some for the long standing rivalry with my oldest brother (Super Challenge Baseball).
