Is there a list of "PAL only" games?

I know there are some Atari 2600 games that were released in England that are not playable in the United States due to being in PAL format. Is there a list of "PAL ONLY" games, and is there any way around that so that you can play the games on American televisions?

I think Thomas Jentzsch and one or two others have converted almost every PAL-only title to NTSC, so if you have a Harmony Cartridge, Krokodile Cart, Cuttle Cart or can make (or pay to have made) an EPROM cart, you can play them in NTSC-land now.

Isn't it true that all you have to do is find an older TV with Verticle/Horizontal hold buttons and PAL games should display just fine (besides colors being off)?

I have played ntsc games on my pal atari, I got hardly any flickering or rolling which is what normally happens when you mix up pal and ntsc, I think this is due to my awesome television though having some sort of scrolling or frequency correction.

 

The only other difference was that some colours were wrong - not a big problem for most games.

I have a copy of PYRAMID WAR (the label says some weird long name that starts with a "W"). I'm pretty sure it's PAL because I tried it before and got the rolling. For the heck of it, I put it in my Atari that is hooked to an 80's ZENITH, and low and behold...... it played perfectly. Hmmmm..

All of the original PAL games have been converted (or close to it) except for Panda Chase. I've been trying to get someone to convert that last one for a while now in this thread: PAL-NTSC Conversions
