Shadowgate-like game possible on A8, using text commands?

The subject basically says it all. Would it be possible to do a static-graphical text adventure game like Shadowgate? Obviously the graphics couldn't be as nice as the ST version, but other than that...?

Yes, there are polish games in vein of this, but...

 

...they are not in English. :/

 

As fate would have it, some of them are point and click like Shadowgate and the Uninvited.
