Certainly not bumping all the guy's threads and telling him to "get a job a-hole."
+save2600 #10 Posted January 5, 2011 I offered $20 for 20 albums and you didn't accept the offer...it was "too low"... The appropriate response is to offer more, or move on. Certainly not bumping all the guy's threads and telling him to "get a job a-hole." As an LP collector - a buck a record is actually pretty fair for sumguy's collection. There's some pretty good stuff in there and had there been verbiage describing cover/gatefold conditions and nice descriptions of the vinyl itself, that might have gone a long way is selling some of it w/ better offers. But since the seller *is* in such "dire straits" (pun intended) and had he felt the price was too low, he could/should have counter-offered. I'm not here to jump on the "screw you, get a job" bandwagon - but there's obviously much, much going wrong in Backin89's life. Just wonderin' where my effin video game commercials tape is already. SpaceDice2010 #11 Posted January 5, 2011 I bought some Colecvision games from him and though it did take a while, I got them and was happy. Honestly with all that seemed to be going on in his life I understood the risk involved. At this point I would say he maybe in a situation where he doesn't have internet and obviously no transportation to do anything. But, he does seem like a guy of his word. I just can't believe that someone can scoop that low to bump all his old threads and tell him to get a job a-hole. Seriously.
