NIAD #2 Posted November 12, 2010 Ah, the educational CV games that everyone loves to hate! Although I think Monkey Academy (actually created by Konami) is a very well designed game that borrows heavily from the Mario Bros.
Yurkie #3 Posted November 14, 2010 Ah, the educational CV games that everyone loves to hate! Although I think Monkey Academy (actually created by Konami) is a very well designed game that borrows heavily from the Mario Bros. I had to check out Monkey Academy. I was playing skill #4 division. I gets pretty challenging. I was using a scratch sheet to figure out a problem and the crab got me. It would actually make a pretty decent game for a marathon record with no calculators allowed and no pausing. Pencil and a scratch sheet only. Think about doing math problems after being up 24 hours. I thought about the Marathon game thing because I just recently saw a cool Video Game Documentary movie called "High Score" It is a movie about a guy attempting to beat the Missile Command Twin Galaxies World Record. I saw this movie on the Documentary Channel on DirectTV and again on Hulu. Here is the HULU link, you can watch the movie online. Have to suffer through some commericals. Sorry for the ramble. How much are you asking for the group of games? Do you have the Monkey Academy manual? I don't see it in the picture.
