+Ransom #3 Posted November 13, 2010 Those controllers sure do look great! The box is in better shape than most, too. I didn't know they sold some consoles without that stupid warning sticker, though. Looks nice without it.

+Ransom #5 Posted November 14, 2010 This console is used but I know it's background history. The previous owner sold me TWO consoles. The first, they had accidentally dropped a can of coke into. -That- one I never did resurrect. This one was bought by their dad to replace the bad console and was kept in better shape. It also looks to have been used a lot less. Cool story! I never did take the sticker off my original CV (bought back in the day, long gone now). The one I have now doesn't have the sticker, though. I personally don't like those warning stickers. I always remove them. In my experience sometimes they can be carefully peeled off with little residue left behind, other times they are really bonded on and kind of dry and brittle. They are almost always dirty looking. My guess is that the ones stored in an attic hot/cold year after year are the really hard ones to remove. Baby oil and rubbing alcohol also do a good job removing the residue if you don't have goo gone.
Yurkie #7 Posted November 14, 2010 Great Price on The ColecoVision and a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend this if someone is looking for an original boxed system.
