Synthcart behavoir

So I purchased Synthcart for my 2600 a while ago. I have not had much time to play with it, but I was kind of perplexed when I first fired it up. I had both of my Numeric Keypads plugged in and all the program seemed to do was put out noiz that neither of my numeric key pads seemed to control much. Also I could not find a way to keep it from making noiz at all so I could use the key pads as a drum machine. Is this normal or am I missing something?

 

I've tested it on two Atari's and I also fired it up without the keypads plugged in but the results were pretty much the same.

Synthcart is a pretty complex bit of programming. You really need to read the manual to use it right. Google is your friend.

i saw a youtube video where someone was doing some fun stuff with it and the MIDI kit but yea its not all that i would just use the rom in emulation...i think it can play 33 drum beats, you got square, saw, and some video game samples sounds?! i forget yeah look on youtube / google for instructions....
