+Gemintronic #1 Posted November 19, 2010 So, since my Jr. is connected and working I was thinking of breaking out my big, clunky wireless joysticks. Has anyone used them before? How do they rate? Am I better just leaving them be?
mimo #2 Posted November 19, 2010 I used them, they are ok, but like you say, big and clunkey
Rikkarr #3 Posted November 19, 2010 My friend has some. I have trouble holding them, but if the size isn't really an issue, they work surprisingly well.
zylon #4 Posted November 19, 2010 If you use a strong enough battery, they'll work from across the street.
Wolf9545 #5 Posted December 15, 2010 One of the things I remember about them is that the battery life in the controllers wasn't that great; compared to today. You would get around a few hours out of them. I have a pair of them, complete in the box, but don't really use them. I show them off to people but that is about it. Cebus Capucinis #6 Posted December 15, 2010 If you use a strong enough battery, they'll work from across the street. Hook them up to a car battery and play from the next town over!
tremoloman2006 #7 Posted December 16, 2010 I find they work really well. I bought 2 rechargeable 9V batteries and charger for $19 and I've been golden ever since.
SpaceDice2010 #8 Posted December 16, 2010 I personally think they are just way too clunky to hold. That is my opinion though.
AtariLeaf #9 Posted December 16, 2010 They're a nice collection piece but I never use mine.
