Making my own retro compilation

Ok I'm a huge fan of the retro compilations that have been released over the last few years. Atari Anthology, Capcom Classics, Ultimate Mega Drive Collection etc.

 

Was wondering if there is any software available that I could make my own ?

Want to be clear on this I know I can have a emulator front end with emulator and roms but I ideally would like to run it off cd/DVD with a menu like the aforementioned retro collections, therefore I can make a DVD cover and add it to my original retro compilations and just load and play again like the retro compilations mentioned.

 

Some retro compilations i would like to create:

Bitmap brothers collection

Best of atari st

More best of for various systems

Shinobi collection

Contra collection (or probotector collection in my neck of the woods).

 

Ohh could go on forever more :-) . So whilst we are on the topic if the above is possible what retro compilations would you create ?
