Desperately look for help with an AIWA CSD-GM1

Hello everyone, I am writing in this forum in the hopes that someone out there has 1 of these units, I just purchased 1 of these AIWA CSD-GM1 boomboxes, and everything works except for the mega cd portion, you see it did not come with the proper cable to connect the game unit to the boom box portion, If you use a serial cable between the 2 parts the unit works fine with genesis carts, but the mega cd does not play, The cd player functions independently of the game system, but not when the game protion is on, if anyone out there has 1 of these functioning, if you can please message me, i need to know the proper pinouts of the cable bridging the game unit and the music player together, many thanks in advance to all who respond.
