Does anyone look at the news on this Atari 2600 page?

Does anyone here ever look at the Google news on the right side of this Atari 2600 page:

http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories.html

I have a similar one on the Game Design page:

http://www.randomterrain.com/game-design.html

I forget to look at them and every once in a while, they'll clog up and make the pages load slower. If nobody looks the those news widgets, I'm going to delete them.

Ummm, Im on a pretty good connection and something is definitely hanging it up and the widget is the last thing to finish loading. At first the page appears to be quickly loaded, but as soon as I scroll down a bit it hangs up for 6-8 seconds. Also whatever is supposed to be in the box labeled Atari in a tree never shows up for me. All things considered, I never have considered your pages to have any real problem on previous visits, so its all relative.....

That's a YouTube video. I hope other people aren't having the same problem with that.

Thanks.

Probably not. I'm at work and under the tyrannical rule of the Barracuda web filter and Youtube is now Sita non grata, due to all the slackers. I actually need to see some embedded YT videos in the course of my job and need to get special permission each time. PITFA!

Thanks. Glad to know it's not a problem with the code on the page.
