nofrills100
At least they can add two numbers correctly. They just lack product knowledge and the common sense to realise if there are only 5 games listed on the label, there probably won't be 50 games on the cartridge! My pet hate is when people list something as 'console and 45 games'... And you click on it and see there are only 3 cartridges, and they've counted all the variants... +SabertoothRetro
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 121358790408 $359 for a Jaguar CD "box and contents". Boxed systems usually go for that or less.
+SabertoothRetro
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 231263468809 Really? Asking $525 plus shipping for three average 4-switch consoles, broken controllers and a few shoeboxes full of duplicate commons. It must be the plug-in play units that are driving the asking price. Pretty clean picture for a system hooked up to a flat screen. There is a black box behind that flat screen. Is that really a screen shot of an emulator running on a PC? cybercylon
Not an auction listing, but this keeps getting reposted on craigslist over the last year or so... http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/vgm/4500765523.html I hate it when people let things get that filthy and expect top dollar for it. Atari8bitCarts
This guy is a jerk. I hate when someone finds something and they see wrapping on it, so therefore it must be New. I asked him for some more pics and he refused. They tossed a slightly used 800XL in a bag and sealed it. He stakes his valuable eBay reputation on it, yet when asked about returning it once you find out it isn't new, that would be at your own expense. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171393285392&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123#ht_746wt_883

You can always get a full refund by using the 'item not as described' claim and the buyer will have to pay up. EBay these days is great for buyers, but terrible for sellers. That's why I sell all my stuff (well, 99 percent of it) on Amazon. The seller is a d-bag though.
bennybingo
My vote for best photos in an eBay listing as of recent: http://www.ebay.com/itm/atari-2600-games-/221498190990?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3392522c8e Upside down and sideways…throw in the seller's need to take the photos, without a flash, in a dark closet…yea. That's a whole lot of effort put in, just to avoid posting a picture that is even remotely useful!
