Wolf9545 #1 Posted December 15, 2010 I have printed out the Atariage rarity list to keep with me when I am out shopping. There are "X"'s next to the games that I own; this way I don't buy duplicates. Is there a section / website where I can tell it the name of the games I own, kind of like a virtual game list. I don't want to download a program to my computer because this way I can access no matter where I go as long as there is internet access.

Algus #3 Posted December 15, 2010 +1 for Backloggery There are other websites too, like Gamespot and IGN though their databases for older games aren't always up to snuff. The nice thing about Backloggery is that you enter the info yourself. This necessitates a bit more work on your part but ensures that your list is reasonably accurate. You can also include some additional data, like a brief comment on the title, your rating of it, and your progress in completing it. http://www.backloggery.com/games.php?user=algus&console=2600 I haven't gotten around to putting all my games on it because I'm lazy but my NES and 2600 (woefully small, aint it?) collections are near accurate. Wolf9545 #4 Posted December 15, 2010 That sounds like exactly what I am looking for but the main problem is that registration is currently closed as of 11/15/10. Guess I will keep an eye on the site until I can register.
thund3r #5 Posted December 15, 2010 I quite like http://www.playfire.com but its more inline with modern games..
opeygon #6 Posted December 17, 2010 i use the atariguide game manager found here http://www.atariguide.com/store/gm.htm it's pretty cool. keeps track of titles, boxes, manuals, prices...just about everything
Wolf9545 #7 Posted December 17, 2010 I am looking at the software now. What I was looking for was more of a website that you would visit. This way I can access the site from any computer. Thank you though.
Pioneer4x4 #8 Posted December 17, 2010 I also would like a nice online site, but I can connect to my home pc from anywhere with internet connection anyway. Plus I keep a copy of my excel lists on my phone for when I'm at a flea market, or thrift store.
Algus #9 Posted December 18, 2010 Well it uber sucks that Backloggery is closed to new registrations. I had to go read up on it because at first I didn't believe you lol. Sounds like whenever the site gets a redesign, current members are going to get invites or something. Gamespot and GameFAQs both have pretty deep databases. GameFAQs' interface is lousy though but if you already have an account with them it can be one way to do it. No easy way to quickly add games though. I've never bothered even trying to put my collection on my GameFAQs account. Gamespot's lists are easy to navigate but since its all point and click it can take awhile to dig through to find your specific version of a game. Their search function leaves a bit to be desired. Surprisingly though their databases do have older hardware. I ran a search for Donkey Kong and got 71 results with stuff like http://www.gamespot.com/intellivision/action/donkeykong/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B2 Stuffed near the back of the list.
