Schitti #26 Posted July 30, 2012 i am sorry for digging out this old thread again, but the case if the double-game-package "Motocross / Boom Bang" exists, is not closed. more than a year has passed and in that time I have seen more than one auction at ebay germany with these two titles together in one auction. in my eyes it seems that the so called "Double-game-package" in this case was only sold as a bundle. It is very surprising that i know from some collectors that they have both games together in their collection. has someone ever seen a ad or perhaps even a box from the "Motocross / Boom Bang" or is it only a rumour since ages? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 330694884597 and here is another pic from a auction in november 2011 also ebay germany I have not saved any auctions. Rom Hunter #27 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Schitti, I think you're right. I've never seen a Double-Game package box of these two and I always wondered about that single Motocross box and the typical Boom Bang serial number. It's a bit strange however that the Boom Bang lay-out has a typical Cooper Black lay-out, while the Motocross box has its own lay-out. Rom Hunter #28 Posted July 30, 2012 I'll combine these two in our Double-Game Package section.
Schitti #29 Posted July 30, 2012 yes crazy that only the motocross layout fits to the double-game-packages. the box has the same style. very mysterious

Schitti #31 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Yes, but the typical Boom Bang serial number also leads to the direction that these were sold as a bundle. Here's another mystery for you: http://www.atarimani...-car_12922.html With serial number 657644 ... what exactly do you mean? the serialnumber? I have exactly the same number on three games. (if my list is correct) i have to proof this at home. fancy car - taiwan cooper black kampf in der galaxie - taiwan bodoni motocross - quelle Edited July 30, 2012 by Schitti
Rom Hunter #32 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Yes, I know the black Quelle carts and the Taiwan - Bodoni carts all have boxes with this serial number. But where does Fancy Car fit in? Edited July 30, 2012 by Rom Hunter
Schitti #33 Posted July 30, 2012 ah, ok. good question. the serial does not fit to all the other taiwan cooper black games. I have always been sorted it into that category. This may not be true. sadly i have no idea at the moment.
Schitti #34 Posted August 1, 2012 But where does Fancy Car fit in? @Rum Hunter That kept me busy. Perhaps we need a extra section? the fancy car fits perfect to the pink Tennis (not the red) two different box scans are currently in the cooper black section http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-tennis_18970.html here is a pic from the fancy car box (link is from Generalhellfire's collection "Show us your collection") http://www.indianahoosier.com/images/IMG_1489-150x112.jpg
Rom Hunter #35 Posted August 1, 2012 Interesting. Forgot about that specific Tennis box, but Fancy Car looks indeed from that series. If more of these show up, perhaps I will make a seperate category. I added all 657644 serial numbers to our database for better reference: http://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=2&type=G&serial=657644&step=200 If you find more of them, please let me know. BTW: did you notice that these boxes look older than the Cooper Black and Quelle series?
Schitti #36 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) good idea with the serainumbers. yes, the boxes looks a bit ancient. interesting ist that the taiwan bodoni boxes have are all same colour (Light blue or turquoise) and written in lower case Abfahrtslauf Kampf in der Galaxie ET will nach hause Sesam öffne dich the TENNIS and FANCY CAR are both pink and written in capital letters. It is quite possible that even more can be found have you noticed that the boxed Scorpion must be from the same series as the motocross and the boom bang from the double-game-packages? the same sticker over the serial on the lower right in front of the box? http://www.atarimani...pion_17881.html Edited August 1, 2012 by Schitti
Rom Hunter #37 Posted August 1, 2012 Yes, I noticed this long time ago. Would like to know which other game it came bundled with, though. The serial number is most probably 648187
Rom Hunter #38 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) It's under Taiwan - Double-Game Package now. Edited August 1, 2012 by Rom Hunter
