+Midnight Synergy #1 Posted December 18, 2010 I don't usually buy lottery tickets, but hey, you put an Atari logo on it and you have a deal! Has anyone else seen these? I believe they originate in Western Canada, but I can't find any info on them online. Specifically, I don't know how many kinds there are. I bought five over the past year: 2 Pac Mans (one was a winner, which I redeemed), 2 Asteroids, 1 Pong. One Asteroids also won $5. I'm tempted to keep the other Asteroids and the Pong unscratched (although - you never know - they might be the $25,000 ticket. Yea right!).
ls650 #2 Posted December 18, 2010 If you do a search, you should find some photos I posted of some BC Lotto tickets that featured both Asteroids and Centipede...
+Midnight Synergy #3 Posted December 18, 2010 Neat, thanks! That Centipede one looks nice. I assume they change which games they feature for a while - I haven't seen the Pac Mans for a while, and now the Asteroids are gone, too.

Pong #5 Posted December 22, 2010 I wish we knew what it was underneath, but it's harder as it's scratch and sniff. Even a... *sniff sniff* farmer like you would understand. If you don't get the reference, go find it.
jaybird3rd #6 Posted December 22, 2010 Are these really "Scratch & Sniff" tickets? The website in Post #4 says only "Scratch & Win".

Nah, that's just what I call them... sorry for the confusion. You're free to sniff, but sniffing doesn't increase your chance of winning. I wish we knew what it was underneath The Pac Man one was neat, as the content had something to do with the actual game. When you scratched from left to right, you would gobble up dots until you uncovered a ghost (and then you don't win anything). Of course, while I scratched my ticket, I provided the Pac Man sounds myself. Probably got some strange looks for that one.
jaybird3rd #8 Posted December 22, 2010 Are these really "Scratch & Sniff" tickets? The website in Post #4 says only "Scratch & Win". Nah, that's just what I call them... sorry for the confusion. No problem, I understand. But this raises an interesting question: if these were Scratch & Sniff tickets, what do you think each of the games would (or should) smell like? Most of the Atari games I've gotten have smelled like mildew and stale 1970s cigarette smoke, but I don't think that would make for very appealing Scratch & Sniff tickets.
