I believe Cmart said Sears Backgammon was hard to find. Too bad there's no pics.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2607132934681?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=260713293468&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

cmart...you didnt buy this? you are slipping!

With shipping it's $100 to Canada, not worth it for just Backgammon as I already have two Sears units CIB. If someone buys this, I'll buy the Backgammon off of you for $20. icon_smile.gif

And here a bunch of overpriced boxed games. Some of his games are decently priced. But most of it is overpriced.

http://shop.ebay.com...1.c0.m270.l1313

Some great games in there but as you mentioned some of the prices just seem too high...a couple that I found interesting/notable are:

The OH MY GOD MY STUPID DOG ATE MY LEARNING FUN 1 BOX!!!!!!! (and yet still BIN at $199 "CIB" icon_neutral.gif ) (Which by the way, I'm pretty sure happened to jaybird with his Aquarius Tron icon_ponder.gif )

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1404950737181?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=140495073718&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Tutankham (CIB BIN at $399) versus Super Cobra (CIB BIN at $159). I think Tut is rarer but I don't think it's this much rarer, although Super Cobra is missing its manual. Both boxes have a fair amount of wear/fading.

Tutankham

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1404950746711?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=140495074671&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Super Cobra

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1206653182701?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=120665318270&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Also Dig Dug CIB BIN at $199 and Triple Challenge CIB BIN with a pretty rough box at $149...just too high in both cases. That last Triple Challenge at $99 was a nicer box last week.

Dig Dug

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1404950734331?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=140495073433&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Triple Challenge

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1404950745801?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=140495074580&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

That said, I have bought a lot of games from this seller in the past and have had good experiences.

icon_ponder.gif The Tut went for the $399 BIN and River Raid went for $60 CIB....

I just hate when I pull up one of his auctions, not realizing my speakers on my computer are on, and the noise from his auctions scares the crap out of me. icon_rolling.gif

Any thoughts on the best place to get an idea on cart value? I just went through my collection and pulled out about 100 duplicates (mostly loose) and wanted to get an idea of value. Seems like I like to collect a lot of the white label carts like thin ice and chip shot golf, have two or three extras of those. Also a lot of the other third part carts, activision, coleco, etc. Also I didn't realize that demon attack had two different labels, I have an extra of each of those.

Anyways, any thoughts on where to look, I know DP prices aren't up to date.

thanks,

charles

here is one of those cbs donkey kong games on italy ebay. its the rare version with the white stripes and the cool more realistic mario and DK.

My link

Interesting, what's the story about this version? Was it something released only in the PAL region?

BTW, the seller says he's willing to consider BIN offers, so the auction may end unexpectedly...

Cheers!

This ought to be interesting...sealed Melody Blaster, this seems to have become pricier than World Series lately....icon_ponder.gif

$168. Pretty good price for the seller. This game has been trending up this last year or so. CIB it's selling better than World Series, sealed it's getting pretty close.
