Intellivision Ebay Roundup

Recommended Posts

To be fair, given that people are paying over a buck a piece just for empty shells, the price isn't THAT excessive.

Also - I hate shipping so much. $25 to ship to Canada for all of that??? People charge $25 for one fucking game. I really wish Ebay enforced reasonable shipping pricing.

not to mention the Duty that's added when they choose Global Shipping instead of international...

The Global Shipping Program is an heavy blow to international transactions... I always ask the sellers to remove it, if still possible.

I do they same, some do but most are greedy SOBs and don't.. Most shipping to Canada for a single CIB can be shipped under 10 us.. And Duty on used games- come on really.. The more the cost of the game/s the higher the Duty.. I just contact them and say they lost a sale.. good luck... Shit I get things shipped from China for less then 5 dollars... larger then a CIB game..

Someone probably just wanted one really bad. The display spine may look better than the front and back. Still overpriced, but not insane. Better deals are out there for the patient.

You are probably right. Just seems really weird after Intellivisiondude got one recently, I think in better condition, for only $61 bucks.

There was a triple challenge in horrible condition by the same seller I think that also went for a fortune. Way too much for a taped up box.

I think it sold for $90, which isn't terrible. Normally it's $150-175 CIB. The box was pretty bad, but the cart normally sells for around $40-50 and the manual maybe $15-20. I wouldn't have paid $90, but it was a good opportunity for someone to knock a rare and expensive game of the list at a 'bargain' price...as long as box condition isn't a huge priority for them :) Then again, it may just be a non-discerning speed collector.

Box condition has never been a priority for me, but even I was turned off by that box! It was beat up!

Someone wants one of these I have a spare I'd part with for less or trade for a catalog I don't have. PM me.
