I'm just kidding, of course (not for spare consoles), but I think you can find a very good boxed PAL Intellivision for much less that that amount. Apart from France (like you say, Secam consoles won't work properly on your PAL tv) if I was you I would keep on taking a look at Germany, UK and Italy, where Intellivision was popular.
