Dinner at Dannys? :D

btw. after listening to the new podcast we need for the Christmas episode a PRGE resume from you...the border adventures...your battle agains mayonaise...

Lol. Yes the Americans tried to force mayo on me the whole trip. Bunch of weirdos. ? We will definitely do a PRGE recap in the next episode. We'll also discuss our top ten Inty wish lists and hopefully we'll have some listener submissions to discuss too.

  • 2 weeks later...

OK, I'm new to Atari Age forums and I tried to be intentional to not go around advertising the system I just posted on eBay this week... but this thread specifically asks for it... so here we go. (This is interesting to me, but I'm new here so you decide if it is interesting to you).  Let it be known, my first 12 posts in forums were NOT me trying to get the most money out of this sale:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/INTELLIVISION-SUPER-PRO-SYSTEM-INTV-System-III-Cleaned-Tested-Works/293337803754?hash=item444c4babea:g:XN8AAOSwCgld0y-L

I hope that link works, it is eBay item 293337803754.

This is an IntelliVision Super Pro System I found at a thrift store in Phoenix, AZ a couple weeks ago.  It was filthy dirty and I had no clue if it would work.  I cleaned it up a little and tested it, it worked! (All I had was Frogger to test, so I couldn't test every button on the controllers.)

A day AFTER I posted it on eBay, I learned about the Tutorvision thanks to a YouTube video by Lathe26.  The video pointed out seeing the board through the bottom vents of a Super Pro and I clearly remembered that was the case with mine. I jumped into this forum to ask people smarter than myself:

Apparently, this horribly neglected thrift store find had some of the Tutorvision components inside! (I didn't even know what that meant until this week.)  I will post a couple pictures here, but there are a ton more in the linked conversation while trying to determine what I have, I will try to update the eBay description posting to be as accurate as I can.

If you find this interesting, there are 7 days left on the eBay post.  Please DO NOT take my word for it, look at the pictures yourself.  I am not qualified to tell you what I have, and I have an interest in this selling for more money (any profit here will be invested into my NES collection).  Whoever wins this bid in the end, I hope it is someone who appreciates this for what it is.

Also, if anyone has any questions, please let me know.  I will be monitoring the forum I linked above probably more than this one.  I want to share as much information on this piece as I can before it sells in a week.

Did someone just move closer to their 125 with this Learning Fun I?

Looks like a pretty good copy overall. Or maybe I'm just not too picky.

that was actually quite good, despite the vintage coke stains on the back. I'm sure the1hatman would be able to fix it and perhaps also to determine whether it was the cane sugar or the corn syrup variation

... or the coke stains are from the Coca plant variety.

This is a good price for the Tandy x10 (aka Aquarius command control).

With a quick crossing of cable wires this works with the Aquarius and Aquaricart software

Hi guys.  Yes, to my knowledge these are the only 4.  There is a thread here on AA from many years ago with a little info on them. I don't know why Mattel did these (perhaps Steve Roney does). They are rather unique and rather rare. Occasionally you will spot one in a lot of carts but I have not seen one for quite some time. I know I didn't help much but I think I will skip on over to Intvfunhouse and see what Steve has to say about them.  I should have put this in the auction but these are not the boxes they came in, I don't know if anyone out there has one they opened and found a painted label to know which boxes they were born in.
