Lol... no. It didnt sell. Auction says it is no longer for sale, so it was pulled. If it had sold, it would say "sorry you missed out. Item has Sold".

On mine it looks like this when you pull up something that has sold...

So, im unsure now.

Usually if it sells, it shows as SOLD.. like how yor screenshot shows. But mine says "No longer Available", which usually comes up if auction gets stopped.  I dunno?

One of ours is correct though.. lol

Here's what mine looks like (eBay app for Android):

I can't imagine anyone paying this, though.  I think eBay makes mistakes sometimes.

Folks,

I would say it got sold!!!

On my Ebay app it’s not specifed, the field is simply empty…

I can’t believe that someone paid so much for that sealed game…

@sharkcharmer, what do think???

Well... some people have unlimited funds... and they have holes in their collections. If the seller & buyer are both happy with the deal, then its a good sale.

(Another collector once told me that here on AA. I believe he is right.)

I do agree, it took me some time but I came pretty much to the same conclusion…

But when I see those prices I’m always astonished!???

It appears that Kijiji expects you to make the transaction in person, which I learned only after I had already sent an inquiry, as I am also missing the Mr Basic white label cartridge in addition to Super Series pieces.

Thank you for thinking of me. I do already have the box AND the manual, just not the white-label cartridge, so not sure how much I want to spend on a full box.

I saw this too. . .  I’ve been wondering if there’s one or two relatively new collectors who are of considerable wealth, such that $1,200 = couch cushion money.  There have been a few sales, like the $2,500 Jungle Hunt, and a couple others that were pretty jaw dropping.  Even the Super Series - I told my Pops that I thought it would sit for a while at $900, and very quickly  discovered that I was wrong.  Then again, I’m terrible at predicting what things will go for these days!

I don’t remember what we paid for our sealed GF Melody - I think my dad bought that one a long time ago.  And about 2-3 years ago, we upgraded our sealed 0210 Melody with a really nice one for either $200 or maybe $250. . .

Man I hope no one paid that much. Sealed versions of that come up enough that there's no way you need to pay that much for that game.

The other thing I’ve noticed is that it seems that eBay no longer differentiates between OBO listings that sold for full price, and listings in which an offer was accepted.  So theoretically someone could have had a $300 offer accepted.

We made a $350 offer on this Worm Whomper, which was accepted.

Good point Arlo.

That’s the best way to remain on Ebay and buy a game at a price you agreed with the seller being sure that no one buys it when it’s listed…

Must be gone in this way at 300/400 bucks…

So, price is rising up quickly the last months !

Questions :

How much for a CIB MINT condition) Super Cobra and Tutankham ?

How much for a CIB (very good condition) Congo Bongo ?

I'm going to sell them soooon !

My guess:

Super Cobra mint max 250 bucks

Tutankham mint max 350 bucks

Congo Bongo good conditions max 700 bucks

BUT only for US domestic delivery.

Here in Europe you can easily reduce all prices by 60 bucks at least…

Am I too low nowadays ???

As a bare minimum for Tutankham, I'd say $160.  This one recently sold for $160 at auction and was in poor condition.  If think mint should hit at least $200-350.

Super Cobra was historically $100-150.  There are a few that sold recently.  Both were listed around $300, but offers were accepted.  I'd say $150-250 on that one.

Congo Bongo prices have been erratic lately.  Up until recently, it was hovering from $200-350, but in the last 3 years it has ranged from $200-1500.  Personally, I think a decent copy would fetch $400-800 these days.

Of course it goes without saying, but these are crazy times, so who knows...
