roberto #2701 Posted March 12, 2013 Here's another winning auction, who's going to win these beauties?... http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FIntellivision-Vintage-Lot-of-9-Video-Games-Donkey-Kong-Star-Strike-Astrosmash-%2F121080049362%3Fpt%3DLH_DefaultDomain_0%26hash%3Ditem1c30eeeed2 I think the boxes might be useful enough to line the bottom of my birdcage. Wow, that's really an Astro...smashed!

Rev #2703 Posted March 12, 2013 Hey, is anyone here trying to win that intellivision T Card? These documents should be scanned.

mojotv67 #2705 Posted March 15, 2013 OK, this current price fluctuation on games is officially out of control. I was bidding on a Tower of Doom in good (not great) shape and it sold for $103.50... and just three days ago, another Tower of Doom in more or less the same shape sold for half of that, $51.25... that makes no sense at all. I guess a good time to sell if you have semi-rare games and though crap if you need to get them and don't have the $$. Must... exercise... patience. voltron #2706 Posted March 15, 2013 its a sellers market. originally it was believed to be the voltron effect but i havent been on ebay as much, but maybe some other have been infected with voltron syndrome. but yeah its a sellers market now.
Rev #2707 Posted March 16, 2013 Its all your fault Voltron! Lets get him! Everyone on the pile!
slab0meat #2708 Posted March 16, 2013 Another Spiker eBay Auction -- Item Number: 360616242150
B0B 1ob1aw #2709 Posted March 16, 2013 The box is a bit rough on that one, he is starting the bid way too high IMHO.
voltron #2710 Posted March 16, 2013 agree a high bid for a bad cib.
slab0meat #2711 Posted March 17, 2013 Thought the same thing, but who knows.. maybe he'll get it.
SoulBlazer #2712 Posted March 17, 2013 Thought the same thing, but who knows.. maybe he'll get it. Yeah, that was my thought also. Since it doesn't cost anything to list, try the auction once and see if you can get a fantasy number. If no success, list it again at a lower price. +cmart604 #2713 Posted March 17, 2013 Yah, that box isn't great at all. No way I'd pay that for one in that condition. Good luck to the seller.
voltron #2714 Posted March 17, 2013 Nice ones sell for that price, may 800 possibly 900 for that one bc of the cart and the booklet, since loose spikers go for about

Ignorama #2716 Posted March 18, 2013 I am quite sure he gets this copy sold. Sure the condition isnt the best and the price is very high, but there are many crazy collectors out there and just one of them must place a bid. Some people have no patience to wait for another chance. I would be very surprised if this Spiker doenst find a new home. But who cares about Spiker, I wanna get a CiB Dracula and Fathom. Dracula is available in UK, but its to expensive in my opinion, but I cant find a CiB Fathom
Ignorama #2717 Posted March 18, 2013 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 171009577266 This may becomes interessting. I wonder how high this ultra common game will climb just because it got a cage of plastic. By the way, I placed the highest bid right now. If the price stays at a normal Snafu-sealed level I would take this one, knowing that grading cost more as double as I had to pay (so please dont outbid me) The seller deleted my bid I asked him about shipping to Germany and he told me 28 Dollars. I know this could be done cheaper and so I asked him if thats possible, because Snafu is so common that no special shipping is needed. His advice was, that I should buy an ungraded Snafu, because this is available for 20. Thats mean

Thats mean He was probably quoting $28 for Priority shipping which is more expensive than First Class, however, many sellers (myself included) generally refuse to use First Class International these days as there is no tracking and eBay will NOT protect the seller. The buyer could simply say that they never received it and, if there's no tracking, the seller loses the case IMMEDIATELY.

I wonder how high this ultra common game will climb just because it got a cage of plastic. <rant mode=on> I really don't get this VGA plastic thing... making cheap games expensive and expensive games even more expensive! Just a silly waste of money IMHO <rant mode=off>

Plus I'm really hoping to get the Worm Whomper out there too (and, no, not the $100 mice munched version). Ignorama #2725 Posted March 20, 2013 You are talking about the Worm Whomper which is about 25 Dollar right now? I am the highest bidder at the moment If I get Congo Bongo I'll maybe to broke to make serious offers, but I dont get Congo Bongo I surely will try it.
