Mood: Relieved :)

The eagle got Irma. Better her than me. Looks like it was a false alarm about the eggs too, or maybe a turtle ate them. I don't really care, not my problem.

Flies today were great, best all year. Had dinner with cute girl who showed up a couple days ago, I think her name's Shelly. Ribbit.

Snafu is pretty rare, but not impossible. Backgammon is exceedingly rare. I only know of a few people who own one (Steve and I). Ironically, Math Fun might be the easiest to find on that list. Hockey is pretty rare too - I saw one on eBay a month or so ago. I got my Soccer sealed from Venezuela, but I think others did too so you might find one. Roulette is a really tough one to get out of the way.

Is ABPA Backgammon really that rare? I have one, CIB, but I didn't know it was rare. It seems increasingly the case that the $250.00 I spent on my very first lot when I started collecting a few years ago, was a gem. :)

I have a loose Soccer that I would gladly give away. Unfortunately I haven't unpacked since I moved last year. My wife insisted that it was temporary, until we bought a house, and I left all my Intellivision stuff in crates.

I'll try to see if my loose carts are accessible and dig for it. Certifiable, send me a PM if you're interested.

I was referring to the Intellivision Inc versions. The I.I. Backgammon (not APBA version) is very rare. The standard Mattel APBA Backgammons are pretty common.

Ah, then. I have one of those too. Cool.

Wait, what!? You have this?

Or do you have the international version...which lacks the APBA logo, but still has the Mattel logo on the front?

I have no idea how rare the international one is. Still pretty rare, I'm guessing. I don't have it.

What Jason said. If you have the Intellivision Inc version I'd hate to see you get all bogged down in variation collecting and would be happy to trade you for it. :) I honestly may have traded mine away accidentally. :(

Hmm... Now I have to check. I have it in my inventory file, one under Mattel and one under Intellivision Inc. I'll have to verify just to be sure, since I didn't know it was so rare.

Verification would be a great idea. :)

It may be a while, my stuff is still in crates from my last move. However, given the rarity of the item, there is a chance I may have made a mistake in my inventory accounting.

I promise to check, hopefully next week-end. I'm very curious now.

Interesting auction here ... Not only has a decent looking Diner, but also has four of the harder to find yellow Imagic manuals. Were those the ones that came in baggies?

Looks like there are a few Intellivision, Inc. variants in there, and that Triton catalog is nice.

I added pictures to the auction, including the catalogs that will be included. I tried to get some decent shots of the boxes so people can see what variations there might be.

Please note: I've got a pending offer on just the Intellivsion Spring '85 Catalog. I've removed that pending completion of the deal. If the deal falls through I'll add it back in and let y'all know.

well all that variant talk gived me a headache and im pretty sure my copies r intv. ive sold hundreds and hundreds of these these past months. i know i offered up before but im not sure how to keep track of it. ive seen multiple manuals all different colors of same series etc. i have a few foreign ones. if someone wants me to look for something rare they want they should send me a list to look out for. or a list in a forum somewhere not sure if practical or that helps? maybe takes the fun out of lookin?:)......scot

I've decided to cap shipping at $30 for any place in the lower 48. I'm not sure what's going on with eBay and why the estimates are so high, and it's too late in the auction anymore to change things. But someone asked me a question last night and I responded and posted the question on the auction. Anywhere inside the 48 I'll send it for no more than $30. If I get shipping for less, I'll charge less.
