JasonlikesINTV #10176 Posted January 27, 2018 I think this is a safe upper limit (unsold) eBay Auction -- Item Number: 322928265441 It even included a console and Overlay set.

+Lathe26 #10178 Posted January 27, 2018 I think it's because Sears (the store) sucks. "Sears: the store America walks through to get to the mall." I don't recall if I heard that from a comedian or from a Microsoft sales guy over a decade ago. It's funny and sad at the same time.
accousticguitar #10179 Posted January 27, 2018 Now i have to google huckleberry...... Huckleberries are like blueberries only 10 time better. They grow wild in the mountains in north Idaho. A gallon will sell for $50 to $75. Yeah, they're that good.

JasonlikesINTV #10184 Posted January 28, 2018 Did anyone here pick up this manual lot? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 292426513926 Some, if not all, are PlayCable manuals.
JasonlikesINTV #10185 Posted January 28, 2018 Did someone buy this just for the GE paperwork, or is there something special about the box? Pricey. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 272970390394

Pricey. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 272970390394 Yep, it was me..GE paperwork rocks. Wanted an early box with the keyboard component advertised .. very nice condition with no fading and looks nice on my shelf. Original posting came with console and some games but I just wanted the box which I have not seen come up much.

If you wanted the console for the box he has it in another auction (Note the SN on the box). It is a shame to break them up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intellivision-System-2609-original-and-complete-14-games-Ready-for-1979-Fun/272970511401?hash=item3f8e4f7429:g:fMUAAOSwh1haJx61 Edited January 29, 2018 by Humblejack

Intymike #10194 Posted January 29, 2018 True , but the console has a nasty looking AV mod done to it so was not too keen on it ... I wouldn't call it AV mod. It's more a screw for a modern Antenna/Sat cable.

Pretty ugly looking so put me off ...also i have small collection of extra consoles already ..worried i might end up with a backyard like one those aircraft graveyards for moth balled cold war jets in the desert <cue competition of photos to show show who has the biggest graveyard of mothballed intellivisions...> My modern Phillips telly is lucky to have an old school RF connection that takes PAL and NTSC Edited January 29, 2018 by Ron The Cat

But the nice thing about having the boneyard of old aircraft is that you can repair the needy one. I have been tearing apart and keeping Intellivisions for over 20 years. I keep them in parts boxes. I get rid of the parts that are bad and sort the good stuff. I will gladly donate any parts you would need, but understand how that could put you off for buying. You have to admit, it is a shame. Atari_Bill #10198 Posted February 3, 2018 $275-325 is my prediction. Honestly, I've always loved the Sears set and don't understand why they aren't more sought after. It's a really fun subset to collect. A bit more than projected. At least happiest didn't end up with them.
JasonlikesINTV #10199 Posted February 3, 2018 A bit more than projected. At least happiest didn't end up with them. Yeah, I was surprised and impressed. Personally, I feel the value is there, but the Sears collection never seems to get the love it deserves. Hopefully the winner enjoys them.
+cmart604 #10200 Posted February 3, 2018 $405. Thats a pretty solid number for a non mint Sears set. Nice.
