the1hatman #11551 Posted February 13, 2019 Neat. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 254122187933 Interesting. Never heard of INTV shells used for a Vectrex before.
JasonlikesINTV #11552 Posted February 13, 2019 No, the regular Mattel Hong Kong Night Stalker. I didn't have that one, either. Ah, I had to check if I had that one (I do). Steve doesn't have a pic on Intvfunhouse, but he has a description.

the1hatman #11556 Posted February 15, 2019 Eh, it wouldn't take too much to square that back into shape. Then again, people might just want to wait for the one I have to hit the market. I've got a ton of stuff I will be unloading next month via trade/eBay.

I've got a ton of stuff I will be unloading next month via trade/eBay. I assume you would have to take it out of shrink to square it up. I had a "NIS" Space Spartans that was in worse shape than that, so I opened it up and took out the manual, overlay and cartridge and put them into a better empty box I had. the1hatman #11558 Posted February 15, 2019 Yeah the shrinkwrap would have to go. But in that condition the wrap isn't really keeping anything mint or even truly sealed anymore. Better to crack it open and recondition the box than have it stay crushed-sealed.

SiLic0ne t0aD #11561 Posted February 15, 2019 Yep, in the early days of vectrex homebrews, modified Inty shells were used sometimes. It was usually a John Dondzilla game that used them.
stupus #11562 Posted February 16, 2019 Yep, it was how they were done early on. Vectrex carts were too uncommon to sacrifice for homebrews. So the intellivision ones worked good until Sean Kelly I think was the first to have a mold made to make new ones. I think he had to do like 10,000 or something. Then more colors got made as the scene grew

Intymike #11568 Posted February 18, 2019 Wow, some real homebrew treasures. Even games that supposed not to exist. It's a shame that you want or have to leave the homebrew brotherhood.

Intymike #11571 Posted February 18, 2019 I bookmarked a few of the games. But I assume they will go faster than I can say "nooooooo" behind my financial horizon.

+Lathe26 #11574 Posted February 18, 2019 Sorry to hear you're also selling your cat. I'm sure it will go to a good home. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mattel-Intellivision-Set-of-11-COLECO-PROTOTYPE-BOX-Reproductions/163549927805 Joking aside, it's sad to see you unload such a large portion of your collection. +intvsteve #11575 Posted February 18, 2019 Yeah, sorry to see that happening. There are a few gems in there I wish I could lay hands on, but assuredly they'll fly past my budget. What's kitty's name? Anyhow, hopefully this is "just" a decision based on pruning a large collection, and not driven by more difficult circumstances, as others have said.
