+Swami #11601 Posted February 25, 2019 Hmmm...wish I hadn't forgot to bid on the the first Piggy Bank. I did not win the second. $340 was a bit high...Hopefully a few more or the multi-cart with the rom will come out soon.
+intvsteve #11602 Posted February 25, 2019 Yeah, there were several items that went waaaay past what I expected, and surprisingly many that went unsold. Always surprising, these auctions are.
+boxpressed #11603 Posted February 25, 2019 I suspect that Intellivision collecting is a state where only the super rares and select homebrews are actively sought after anymore. Collectors are upgrading rather than adding to their collections, and only then if the price is right. Niche collecting (e.g. FCTVVO) is a response to most collectors having 98-99% of what they want already and the 1-2% being too expensive to acquire.
y-bot #11604 Posted February 25, 2019 I am very happy with the prices I got. Thanks everyone for bidding. Sorry, Templeton Ichabod will never be for sale, lol. One thing that was crazy to me were the amount of bid retractions. Probably 7-8 in a week.
JasonlikesINTV #11605 Posted February 25, 2019 One thing that was crazy to me were the amount of bid retractions. Probably 7-8 in a week. Probably the same few people abusing it to feel out other's max bids.
+cmart604 #11606 Posted February 25, 2019 Probably the same few people abusing it to feel out other's max bids. Yah that's total BS move from douche bag buyers. eBay should shut the accounts of these asshats down.
JasonlikesINTV #11607 Posted February 25, 2019 The ones that surprised me the most were: Choplifter @ $71 (that's a steal) LTO 4-Tris @ $222 (thought it would go higher) Laser Sharks @ $142 (still available for $45?) Sexy Space Beaver @ $190 (sex sells?) Adventures of Tron (last 3 sales were $202, $275, $294)
+Lathe26 #11608 Posted February 25, 2019 ... One thing that was crazy to me were the amount of bid retractions. Probably 7-8 in a week. Were these different random people retracting or was the same person or two doing it over and over? As an eBay seller, I have little patience for bid retractions. If they give a lame excuse or if it looks shady in any way, I permanently block them from bidding on any future items. You don't want to deal with these people even if they win. Ping me here or via PM if you need a hand in setting that up.
+Lathe26 #11609 Posted February 25, 2019 Also, congrats y-bot on all the sales. I was hoping to League of Light and/or Robot Rubble but the prices on those went too high for me, though they did sell for their normal market price.
y-bot #11610 Posted February 25, 2019 My Ebay blocked bidder list is deep! I didnt really look at the reasons. Its always entered wrong amount but then they dont re-bid.

the1hatman #11612 Posted February 25, 2019 I took a shot at 5 or 6 of them but only won Super NFL Football. Still happy I was able to snag at least one though. Thanks y-bot for making these available. I assure you Football will have a good home 👍
+intvsteve #11613 Posted February 25, 2019 There were only a few I had my eye on, but they jumped out of reach. A couple not by much, but doesn't matter if it's an inch or a mile when you don't win. Grats to the winners!
Atari_Bill #11614 Posted February 25, 2019 What was the deal with the home brew baseball selling for that much? Was that an ultra rare edition? Forgive my ignorance I dont typically do home brew collecting.
+SoulBuster #11615 Posted February 25, 2019 It was released as a PCB board only. The buyer had to supply the cart and others came up with the box, manual and overlays?
stupus #11616 Posted February 26, 2019 It was only available as a bare pcb for a short time. It was not advertised. Then the other components were made at a later time and also only available for a short time and also not advertised outside this forum. So it was easily missed twice to make a cib copy. mammothservices #11624 Posted February 26, 2019 I had missed out on some of David's late releases. I grabbed the Mystic Castle. It's missing the manual/overlays/label extra. If anyone has an extra set of extras, pm me. Thank you!
